Utopia Waste Management Ltd is fully committed to the protection of the environment and to the promotion of procedures which prevent pollution and minimise the environmental impact of its operations.
Utopia Waste Management Ltd is specifically dedicated to meeting the following aims:
- Comply with and where possible exceed relevant environmental legislation throughout all stages of our business activities and operations.
- Wherever possible use suppliers or contractors that have environmental standards that are compatible with our own.
- To monitor our environmental policy on a regular basis and when necessary update it to take into account new developments and best environmental practice.
- To control the waste management and recycling activities of our customers through the development of policies and procedures that ensure waste is always recycled or disposed of in a safe and responsible manner.
- Seek to minimise the volume of waste generated and maximise the amount of waste reused or recycled.
- Ensure that our responsibility for environmental issues is understood throughout the company.
- Minimise health and safety risks to employees and the communities in which we operate.
